Microsoft has reconsider restrictions on the number of achievement points put forward by the arcade games in Xbox LIVE Arcade. This is the website Xbox360Achievementsciting its own sources.
The total number of achievement points ("Gamerscore") in the downloaded games will be increased twice, with 200 points to 400. The number of achievements ("Achievements"), available in every game, will also be increased from 20 to 30. The position changes will affect and downloaded Additions to arcade games. Previously, each DLC add 50 extra points for 5 achievements, after changes in their number will be increased to 350 points in 35 achievements.
Xbox360Achievements reports that the new conditions will come into effect from 1 April 2012. On June 1, 2012, they will become mandatory for all games produced digitally store arcade games XBLA. Microsoft did not provide official comments.
