Nintendo prohibited the religious games on 3DS

Nintendo has declined to release an independent game The Binding of Isaac on their handheld console 3DS. It became known from the message of the author of the game in the microblogging service Twitter .
Edmund McMillen (Edmund McMillen), author of the game, wrote that during the internal negotiations publisher decided not to release The Binding of Isaac on the platform Nintendo 3DS due to "ambiguous religious content" of the game. McMillen concluded his message saying, "Thank God that there is a Steam".
Independent role-playing game The Binding of Isaac is based on one of the biblical story in which God decided to test Abraham's faith and ordered him to bring in zhert his son Isaac. The ritual was stopped by an angel to intervene. In the story of the game, mladelets Isaac, fearing God's requirements, down to the basement, full of hostile creatures, and tried to escape.
