Sony Pictures will not show a movie about North Korea

Sony Pictures will not start rolling in December 25, 2014 the film "Interview" Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. This was reported by website IGN.

In the movie "Interview" is about a journalist with a friend who wanted to do something meaningful and went to North Korea to interview Kim Jong-un, and they knocked out the CIA to kill the dictator. This story allegedly caused the hacker attack on the servers of Sony Pictures. Although massive leak of company data did not prevent the finished film to the hire, scheduled for December 25 in US theaters, many cinemas still afraid to show it at home due to various threats. Initially, the creators and the unions said that local decisions about the rental took themselves cinemas, but soon Sony has confirmed that it was not planning to show "Interview" December 25th. Studio stressed that fully supports the authors of the film, their right to freedom of expression and severely disappointed with this outcome.
The further fate of the tape is open to question. Sony did not say anything about the transfer of rental, as well as about the output of "Interview" in the drives and digital services. Nevertheless website Variety claims that the film will not be released at all in any form.
However, it became known that the film adaptation of the graphic novel Guy Delisle "Pyongyang: A Journey in North Korea", which was engaged in Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl") is also canceled. The director confirmed that the decision was made because of what happened with Sony.
Meanwhile, on Fox's website reported that the FBI has confirmed the involvement of North Korean hackers to hack servers Sony Pictures. Official statement allegedly made in the near future.
