THQ rejected steampunk Batman game

Publisher THQ abandoned adventure game about Batman, which takes place in Gotham City of the 19th century. This publication reports Siliconera .
According to data disclosed studio developer Day 1 Studios, the game has been in development since 2009 to 2010 and was intended for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.After the presentation, the early version of the game publisher has not approved further production.
Closed project was based on a comic book Gotham by Gaslight, published in 1989. It Batman tried to stop the maniac Jack the Ripper. The action of the book took place in an alternate Gotham City Times 19th century.
The first concept art from the game leaked online as early as January 2012, but on February 28 were found footage of gameplay prototype Gotham By Gaslight. As it can be noted that the game was scheduled to open world, which was implemented in the fall of 2011 in Batman: Arkham City . Batman himself had the ability to see in the dark.Also, the style of the project involves copious use simtpank elements.
